Beneath the picturesque charm of Goa lies a lesser-known reality that is marked not by beaches or parties, but by survival. For thousands of children growing up in slums or on the streets, everyday life is a struggle against poverty, hunger, and invisibility. No safety. No access to education. No roadmap to a better life.
UGR believes that true corporate responsibility lies not only in growth but in giving back. That belief led to the foundation of our exclusive Starz Programme, a heartfelt collaboration with Goa Outreach aimed at transforming the lives of underprivileged children in Goa. Together, we are not just offering aid but unlocking potential.
The Vision
The Starz Programme has come into existence to restore dignity and possibility to children who have none. Our initiative doesn’t offer handouts but a ray of hope… A future… A foundation…Every child supported through this programme receives comprehensive care that touches every part of their young lives.
What We Provide
Every sponsored child receives:
● Education/ Mentorship– Enrollment in school, books, uniforms, and consistent academic support. Also, the mentorship from the residents living in senior citizen homes.
● Healthcare – Access to basic medical care and hygiene resources.
● Essentials – Clothing, shoes, bags, and seasonal needs such as umbrellas.
● Daily Nutrition – Ensuring no child studies on an empty stomach.
This isn’t a charity that we are doing… It’s justice… Because education and health should be basic human rights, not privileges, which unfortunately is not a present-day scenario.
Sponsorship to the Children
Through thoughtfully designed sponsorship packages, anyone can step in and be the reason a child thrives. Apart from sponsoring the children on our own, the Starz Programme offers the global populace the opportunity to do as much as they can to provide foundational support to these children. Anyone can reach out to us to take charge of sponsoring a child at Goa Outreach for a full year.
